Hand #1

BET THE FLOP! You have TP/TK and the nut BD FD. you are against a shirtie and I calla push anywhere in the hand.

Hand #2

Easy Fold. Well played.

Hand #3

Just call the min 3-bet. I have played ALOT of $50NL-$200NL and ALMOST ALWAYS at FR the MR 3-bet is AA,KK, maybe QQ,AK. You need to have specific notes to believe otherwise, So I just call the $5 and look to set. If you think he is on whiffed AK just CRAI on the flop. That way you can try to stop him from seeing all 5. But usually just call to set and be careful on a small flop. I just check-fold flop alot. Yes, it is weak but whatever,
2008 Goals:

1. Make $40K by year end.
2. Play at least 100hrs a month.
3. Read 5-10 new Poker Books w/ notes.
4. Become regular at $2/$4 FR
5. Try some $5/$10 FR
6. Work on Game non-stop.

Thanks for the replies. I had no real reads on any of these players. This is what happened:

Hand 1 - I called his shove and he showed [2d Td] for the made flush. River a brick. Noted re CR'ing more - normally I bet out but sometimes CR just to mix it up? Perhaps that was not the kind of board to be giving a potential free card on anyway.

Hand 2 - I folded. What does he have here? Would he raise that much if very strong?

Hand 3 - I folded. I thought back to the min-raise which looked suspicious and felt it could be AA/KK. But my thinking at the time was 'let's find out where I am' before the flop.

His MR PF "lets u know where u are" and you dont have to spend anything. At 6max I like ur play. But at FR way too often QQ is crushed and at BEST is a coinflip. That is unless u have notes of course.

Hand 1 is a fold
Hand 2 is a shove the turn, now its a fold
Hand 3 is a fold the turn. I'd probably just check the turn most of the time and call any river bet.

Hand #1: I think I would have raised the flop to $7.50-$9, but if I was called in two spot, with position I would have checked the turn and shut down, maybe called a weak river bet, assuming a spade or scary straight card didn't come(which it did; the Ace and 9 were the worst cards that could come except for a spade). You are letting draws in cheap on your small flop raise. If someone was slowplaying a set or two pair, you are drawing dead or close enough from alot of hands against that hand as well. Then, the PFRer CRAI your turn bet and the CO raised that...I I think this is an easy fold, but I wouldn't have put in a bet on the turn based on two callers...I think keeping the pot small with our hand by using our position is important here.

Hand #2: I would like some stats/read on villian in this hand. BTW, raise the flop more IMO, mabye $8-$8.50. I think calling the turn in the worst option there is...either raising or folding is best and I think folding>>>raising. As played, the river is another instant fold IMO...all draws got there, and you beat AA-JJ, 88, 77, and a bluff.

Hand #3: I think a continuation bet on the flop here is important. If he calls the flop, I don't actually mind a check on the turn when we get there to induce a bluff or to keep the pot a decent size. I'm not wild about getting a half stack in with aces and a weak kicker. As played against an unknown, I'm folding this on the river. Opponent probably has A6 or something similar.

What kind of table would you look for at this level? I can see the table stats in the poker software but they all seem pretty similar at this level. I normally go for the slightly looser ones, but not the loosest.
