UTG+1 has just told me he has a big pocket pair with the min-raise preflop and the almost min four bet. Still, I should set him all in and raise a bigger amount to get the button out of the hand, correct?

I think if you are going to 3-bet, after MP's call, you must make it at least $1.10. I think that would discourage the BTN call and more than likely isolate you with UTG but this isnt optimal since you stil have the MP guy in the pot.

I think you are giving UTG too much credit for having a big pair. I would certainly assume AJ+ (sooted or not) along with 88+ would be in his opening range from that position (they are in mine) which means that you are behind only to the 3 bigger pairs, a slight fav over the unpaired overs and a very big fav over the underpairs.

This is a weird situation, I think calling his minibet is probably the best play. You are getting close to 25:1 stack odds on him plus you still have the MP caller, not to mention the Button to deal with after your action.

Play for set value, flop a set of J's and end up losing to quads (oh wait, that was me yesterday).
