Im playing Bodog $100NL and beating it like a red headed step child. I dont use PT, but Im around 14 PTBBs after 10K or so hands

No reads. I was playing with T-Rod the other day and he tells me Im running around 24 / 18 or something like that...which is VERY LAGgy for this Bodog game.

No reads on villain. I raise to $5 with [9h] after UTG+1 limps.

BB and limper both call.
Pot $15. Flop [5c][2d]. They check to me and I bet $9. Blind folds and the limper insta min check raises me. He has $56 more behind. Everyone who knows me knows I hate this spot but I call because I havent seen many people min check raising a set here like they do other places.

Pot $51. Turn . He thinks for about 2 seconds and shoves. Call or fold?

He's a semi-short stack which makes him a few percentage points more donkish than average.

He has 22 never of course. He has 55 or 99 pretty rarely because those two just caught their boats and shouldn't be worried about anything, so the slight overbet shove seems unlikely: I'd expect a smaller bet on turn and river to milk you.

At full ring games I have called here and gotten shown AA-QQ a whole lot, lower chance o JJ-TT. Those are really the most likely hands I think he has most of the time that beat you.

Problem is I can't see very many hands he can have that you're beating either. I suppose a dumbass could have 9x, plus he could be making a move on general principles.

Meh. Overall I think a call is pretty close to 0EV. Maybe a tiny bit +EV if it's 6-max and a tiny bit -EV if it's full ring.

The flop min-raise is nowhere near the sign of strength it used to be.
The donk who plays the turn like this with a strong hand is rare indeed.
Sometimes you lose to 2x or TT, most of the time you beat 9x, 5x, 66-88, 34/67/78.
He puts you on AK everytime.

I call but kinda expect to only be good about half the time here.

That open push is the old "Prima Push". It makes no sense with a real hand and usually isn't even TP but some missed draw.

I had a similiar hand vs a guy at Bodog the other day. Earlier he called a pfr with K5o and the flop came K52.

He now calls my pfr. I have AA.

Flop K56 and he ck/calls.

Turn is a T and he ck/calls

River is some brick and he open pushes. I call and he has TPNK and I win.

Wow, I was expecting his 2 pair to beat your AA. Cool story
