My laptop has a black spot in the bottom right of the screen that keeps growing as you leave it on. Also it keeps flickering.
Subzero_Loses_Then_Blames_Running_Bad has the same laptop though with a broken motherboard, so we're (by "we're" I mean him as I am a paranoid computer retard) going to switch screens on our computers and hopefully it'll result in one which works.
But for now I have class with no computer
.
I got a pretty good PC which I plan on upgrading a lot of the stuff to hat Escape recommended. My computer from Fry's should take about 5 days whereas I was looking at 3 weeks to buy from a gaming website, and those extra 2 weeks are a lot of lost EV. Check out them apples....

The monitor was on sale for $270 and sold out at the first Fry's I went to. It looks amazing and I decided to go with it over the 20.1 1600x1200 because I'm currently trying to watch a lot of movies (I tend to think movies suck hence I'm trying to go into screenwriting, so don't worry guys I'm on it) in addition to playing lots of poker, and this monitor looks amazing for movie watching. I have a 32" LCD Bravia but my roomates are always using it and I try to focus when I watch movies so this looks like a good option.
I can always return either of these if I find out they suck, but I was told by a few computer friends (though I don't think they know nearly as much as you guys on the forums who helped me earlier), and wanted a computer to arrive within a week and I just got tired of learning about computers and wanted to get back to my 2k hands/day thing and screenwriting.
The better player should win the race. Always.
