Well today was another shitty day of poker. This is now 5 losing sessions in a row, and the running like shit continues. I was card dead most of the day only played two big hands and both killed me, the a couple of missed opportunities.

I am in LP with AA UTg +1 makes it $24, one caller. I raise to $75 button shoves for $120, I call. Flop is K43 turn 7 river 9, Villain tables 77.

I am in mp with 99 its a straddle pot and I limp. 5 to the flop which is 9 3. Checks to me I bet $15 and get 2 callers. Turn is , checks to me and as I am going to bet the button bets out of turn, I check and let him bet $15, SB calls too. I CR to $90 both call. River , I vomit in my mouth and start to wonder why god hates me, check to me I check, Button bets $100, SB CRAI for whatever. I fold button has , BB has .

Very next hand I limp . Same moron who won the last hand makes it $23, MP calls. I decide i don't wanna play a big pot the hand right after losing a big one, I am never playing my A game after a hand like that. Flop is QT6r, BB bets $40, Mp calls, turn 7. BB pushs for $200something Mp calls with QQ, BB has AA and river is an ace.

I am the CO with , really bad middle aged black guy makes it $12 from the button, he has done this pretty much every hand he plays, 4 callers and I call. Flop is K . checks to him he bets $20, 2 callers to me, I call. Turn Q, checks to moron again and he bets $100. Shorty calls all in for $40, next player folds, I fold. River . Folder in the middle goes jumps up annouces he folded the winner he had . Black guy on the button has 55 and loses to KJ. Moron makes a fucking awful turn bet which ends up killing me and costs me a huge pot.

Live poker is a bitch no matter what JimmyJets journal title says. You play so few hands that getting AA cracked after waiting 8 hrs for a big pair is brutal. I cut the day short because I was off my game at the end. I was frustrated and wanted to call raises with all kinds of shit. When A7o starts looking good its time to go home.

In general poker is a game of eb and flow, you run good you run bad, you try to maximize value when you are running good and minimize loses when you run like shit. My timing is just off, I have been winning all the little pots that I normally do. This is just strung out in live poker, bad runs last many many hours and your biggest enemy is often times your own frustrtation. Playing for hours and hours and watching the bad players make all these mistakes vs everyone else and not get a hand is awful.

One of my best skills in poker is playing well in little pots and rating the value of one pair kinda hands. What is not going well for me is big hands. I have made 3 sets in my last 5 sessions, lost 2 big pots and won the limpers in the other. I am 0 for my last 5 times showing down AA and every time have gotten it in 3:1 or better.

I am just not hitting my hands at the right time, the 89s hand today was a prefect example, I just haven't been getting the hands at the right time and I have hit draws against players with marginal hands instead of cold decking their monsters. I played a card game with Devbert on Saturday its called killer. There is a small amount of skill but mostly its a coin flip. I won 6 out of 31 coin flips, that is how i have been running this winter break.

Totals today - $246 in 5.5 hrs.

PS I will never again text MVP saying "I am even yahhh me." I didnt win a hand for the next 2.5 hours and then left down. Thanks Seb Jr.

Running great was fun, had a good run online and a couple sessions playing live. Now back to running like ass. Even started today looking like I might run good for day.

I flopped a set with 77 on a 732ss flop, got all my money in vs QQ and won.

I got all my money in with KK vs QQ and won a coin flip finally.

Then back to the usual BS

I get 44 call a 5x raise from MP. Flop is 6 . Sb bets, I raise, he pushs, I call. He has , turn is . River brick.

I call a raise with . Flop is 8 . I check PFR bets from the button, one caller in the middle. I make is $20, he pushs. I call he has fucking 88. Turn 4 river, amazing I actually sucked out once. River 4. Christ

I call a raise from the CO with 22, flop is Q32r, get all my chips in on the flop vs AA and river is an ace.

Get all in with vs half stack with AK flop is , i dont improve.

Yahhh I run good.

Well since Kuso got offended when I posted my journal title as Fuck you 2008. Instead in my journal I will post Fuck you 2008. I have yet to have a winning session either online or live in 2008.

Moved to AP since Bodog can suck my left nut. After all the BS I had to go through to cash out my money I decided I am not giving them my business again. I have had an account there for 3+ years with money coming and going. The credit card I used was the same name and same registered address as on my bodog account. For them to require so many forms of paperwork in order to let me cash out is BS. They can call credit card verifcation to protect everyone from CC fraud if they want but what it really is is them trying to make it harder to cash out so you will continue to build rake and player base for their site. I dont plan on playing there again and if anyone asks I plan on telling them how big a pain in the balls it was on bodog.

Ok so that vent aside, 2008 has been rough. I switched to AP which seems to have been a good move, the games are really live and I do really like 6 max over FR and being able to play more than 3 tables at a time.

My first 3 sessions were pretty bland, I ran cold. Every flop I hit no one else had anything to pay me off. One nice cold deck, I 3 bet with AK from the CO PFR UTG smooth calls. Flop is AK3 he leads I raise, he pushs, I call and he has AA.

Today was a complete cluster fuck. Started off well enough, I flopped a couple sets actually got paid off twice. Once by an overpair and once by the nut flush draw.

Then this BS, I hate these spots. This guy is the biggest moron at the table, the 3 bet min raise could be any number of hands. He has already burned off 3 buyins, twice with TP kinda hands and once where he showed down , where he cold called out of the SB. Then check called all in with a flush draw on the flop. I still cant decide if I should have just folded. I hate borderline situations against morons.

Next we finished off the night by tilting. I made a bad call, calling a 3 bet with AQ and then trying to bluff a NIT off AA. on a KQ9XX board, he of course called cause NITS dont fold big pairs, which is exactly what I told myself as I pushed the river.

Down 2 more buy ins today after being up 2 at one point.

Yeah that's some super cold-deckage right there.
