villian in this hand is 50/8/2.3 over 30 hands.

I have been pretty active at the table so far, probably thinks I am crazy. Is the turn totally standard or do I need to be thinking more call and evaluate the river. I really wasn't sure what he would do this with.

the minraise is a good hand, your problem is that you have a good hand too. I might fold A3 there but I'm known to be weaktight.


With A7 i'll probably get it in but wouldnt feel too happy with the 8 there on turn as A8 is nicely in his range, A3 (only 6 combos though), maybe 87 (6 combos lets say it's only 4 combos because he'll call less with 78 preflop) vs 7 sets + 6 A8 combos... (so 10 vs 13 combos) so I fear its a shove even putting him on this range because of the potsize.

Red are you sure AT+ is reraising there with TP? Reraising there with AT is basically a bluff, same goes for AJ. AQ and AK shouldnt be check raising there too... at least it makes no sense. Doesnt make c/c c/c more sense with those hands? I think a good player is not raising those hands as a 2 pairs hand is never folding and a weaker ace is folding often.

I am only like 20/15 normally so the table was just feeding me a lot of good cards. I didn't mind getting it in at the time. I lost the hand to a set of threes and just wanted to make sure I didn't mess it up somewhere. Thanks for the replies, and Trod I don't mind at all getting in these situations, makes poker exciting.
