The reason why its not a good idea to call with QJo is you are going to miss the flop most of the time and even if you hit the flop with a lone Q or a J you are going to find it tough to play the hand OOP versus the preflop raiser.
So, if you are tired of him raising you too much, look for a hand were you can reraise him preflop, take control, make a CB, and hopefully get him to fold.
Another option is to move to a seat in position or to just flat leave the table until you are comfortable playing against this style.
However, flat calling with only a medium strength hand will get you into more trouble than its worth.
As played, you cannot ever fold on the QQ6 flop.
