3betting is getting old

$200 NL at Cake.

I open to $7 on the button with [Kd]

[Qd]. The SB 3bets me to $24. Folded back to me.

This is the 3rd time hes 3 bet me from the SB in the last 4-5 rounds. I folded both times. I have been raising quite a bit and Im sure he sees that. The table has been tame other than this. No other reraises or big pots in the 40 or so hands Ive been there.

What do you do? $200 effective stacks

I know I have to 4 bet him at some point. I guess what Im wondering is if this is a better hand to see a flop with in position. I think I might rather 4 bet with something like AJ or TT.

I prefer the 4bet/snap call shove.

If you call, you're going to have to raise basically ANY flop. Best to 4bet the first time WITHOUT a real hand, cuz he'll give you more credit than he should...so you likely won't get paid off if you only wait for JJ+

Call and shove almost any flop sounds good.

One thing to note though is if this person is a smart player, it's way more likely he has a real hand now than the first time he 3bet you. If you feel though that he's just 3betting for the sake of 3betting and doesn't really think about his actions, then yeah, his range is probably pretty wide.

A little bit on another path but against that style opponent, a thing to consider doing which I noticed Brian townsend doing in a CR vid ....Super aggro guy to his left was 3 - betting repeatedly so a couple of times he open limped OTB w 87s,76s type hands that u want to see a flop with and calling aggros raises from the blinds, making it really tough for him after the flop.... as opposed to getting 3-bet out with hands with good flop potential.

4 betting KQs is not great IMO. It plays too well to turn it into a bluff. Call and play aggressively on many flops (when you hit TP, OESD, flush draw, gutty and 2 overs, etc)

4-betting would be much better with Ax due to card removal effects and the fact that Ax doesn't play too well postflop and thus has more value as a bluff. Still, if you feel its time to 4-bet you can go ahead and do it, but personally I would rather wait for a better spot.
