EV January so far, 8000 hands



6K worse than EV for the month and counting, another 1K worse than EV today (losing all coinflips as usual) how sick is this thing ? I almost cried of happiness when my KK held up against JJ all in on low rag flop in a $1200 pot.

Session ended -350$ (and I played well) should have been +650

the funny thing is almost all my EV All in losses is against villains nutflush draws with 2 of a flush on the flop against my TPTK, set, 2 pair. Always the nutflush draw (no str8 draws :O), each time it happens I go "Here we go again", and sure enough they hit.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have lost 9 out of the last 10 times where villain had around 35-50% pot equity with his draw. There went 9 buyins.

And I see now its not actually 6K (it was at the point where I calculated but I ended with some good pots), probably around 5.5K now then.

the graph shows also an insane amount of coolers or not very good play, because your ALL expected winnings are not that high.

It should turn around soon, just hang in. I think moving down stakes is a good thing (better than tryingto adapt to a play that leads to smaller variance). I remember you having about 33K at some point. You are running like crap and there is nothing you can do except lower the impact in lower stakes. MOve down and when you make 5 buy ins move back up.

Well whaddyaknow ! The time of miracles is not over yet. I just won a coinflip w AKs against QQ for a 800$ pot.

Ended the session +1K$ (340$ OVER all in EV for the day...a psychological win)

We had been going on at each other all session, had this been 1 week ago i would have put him in pf. For 200BB though I think I played it good.

Just booked a short but really good Cake session, I always run so good at Cake its ridiculous.

Flopped 7 sets in 1 hour and got paid off goood on most of them

To top it off I kept hitting my A on flop, turn or river almost everytime I had AK.

Very good run in other words.
