No real reads on the villian but wondering on if this is completely standard. Should I not bother raising this hand here? I've been trying to loose at least a little bit of my nitty-ness playing NL. I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing that ATM though. So here's a hand that came up and I'm looking for any input.

Thoughts?

Most of the time when a player leads into you they have a weak hand, a draw or total air. I would be inclined to call his turn bet and value bet the river if checked to.

I dont like a raise here. If we raise and he pushes we are not gonna be sitting too pretty IMO. If he folds thats bad too, I guess he could call but thats doubtfull and we can get that on the later street with a widder range.. Just call and let him bet into you again on river. If he bets big I may fold but for a decent price I will look him up. Obviously if he checks.....VB him to death.


I guess a case could be made for raising his weak lead. But i wouldnt. The board is too wet. If this was drier I would.Not exact;y a great bpard to make a move.

Raise the flop. As played, just call the turn.

Depends what he does and what hes done in the past.

Ive seen 2 distinct patterns from people who make a small flop bet and when called come alive with a full pot bet on the turn. Some people have a very strong hand and some have a very weak hand. Its rarely in between.
