My personal preference is to play tight until the blinds mean something then start to loosen up go for the blind steal etc. I look at trying to find the AA or KK that's gonna double me up if I run into a loose canon. That's always more likely on line than live but I've had quite a few final tables live. The other theory is to be aggressive early play lots and if you flop something large make everyone pay. That has not been successful for me but is to a lot of others
