This is only my 3rd session of 6max. I usually play $1/$2 FR. BUt I have decided to shed my skin, jump on the bandwagon and make the jump to 6max. So far I LOVE IT! I am up about 400BB.

Some of the things that I am doing is being VERY agressive when OTB and CO sometimes. I never open limp. Always raise. Betting scare cards, and double barrelinh wehn picking up draws, blah, blah, blah.

Anyhow,

Stacks:

Hero: $110 (CO)

Villian:$55 (OTB)


UTG limps, folds, I raise $5 w/ [Tc], Villian OTB and all fold

flop: [6c][Kd] $12.50

I bet $10, Villian Calls

turn: $32.50

I check, Villian bets $14, I CRAI


Thoughts?


If we were full I may have just check-called, then led out on river for a block and fold to a raise. I have no real read on this guys as I have only been at table 5 minutes.


Hero: $110

I don't like it, you fold out QQ-77 and get smacked around by KJ+ and sets. Happy enough to check/call down though vs the shortstack.

Use this play vs opponents who you feel are habitually floating.

Save it for AK?

c/r'ing is really bad here. especially against a probable donk shortstack.

The 7 is a good card for u because now he cant get away from 56, 45, 78, K8, K5, K3 all that good stuff. i almost always just push in this situation. I probably do it with 99+ tbh.

I wouldn't want to give a free card here so without a read I would bet or shove the turn. If I knew he would autobet when checked to, the CRAI is good because you ensure getting all the money in on the turn which is what you want IMO.
