Ahh she has a good looking site :D

BTW something skewed in that pic.. From what I've read she's only 5' 4".... Still that thumb looks freaky long though...

In poker news I run like total shit... That is all.

EDIT: I did have to mention the worst played AA hand I've seen in a while... 100NL I'm in the SB with [Js] [Jc] .... UTG limps and it folds to me I make it $6 BB folds and limper calls 100BB stacks.

Flop [2d] [2c] [7d] I bet 12 into 13 and he min raises me... :? Mkay maybe a FD I'm thinking, so I decide to take a card off.

Turn [Jd] :D Yhatzee!! I check he bets 30.50 into 61 and I CRAI ... river bricks.

I managed to get myself completely even over 4k+ hands at NL100 tonight... Wasn't really in a great mindset for playing so I hoped on a few 50 tables and burnt through a little over 2 stacks (1 was a flush over flush that we both flopped) trying to LAG my game up a bit and work on my post flop play.... Meh

Mmkay, after getting some helpfull thoughts on AIM (thanks again)... I've decided to not plunge whole heartedly into the next level. I need to slowly modify a few things in my game and make a few adjustments... So I'll probably be spending a bit more time where I'm at but will still likely sit at different tables when I'm feeling up to it.

Didn't play a lot tonight but what I did play I was happy with my game. I had some decent hands, played a little different and it worked out well. Not as carefree and aggressive as I was last session where I fired off some $. But not as nitty as I can sometimes be either, and managed to recoup my losses from last night. I still have a lot studying about the game to do.. I just got 2 more books recently and I should probably go back and re read NLHTAP as well.

I just got NLHTAP, never read it before, how have you found it? Also, i dont know if you have read professional NLHE, but i started it this week and it is really helping i think. Just a way of looking at pots/stacks that i havent done before.

What adjustments are you trying to make? What have you historically run as far as VPIP/PFR/aggression on different streets? Do you feel like you should be playing 20/17+ at nl100 but cant seem to do it like me? Do you often obsess over "girl next door" internet porn stars?

Sorry for the 20Q, but i think i am at a similar point as you and would like to know your thoughts.

You are saying that you need to work on being more loose in LP. I have been doing the same, but at the same time also playing differently in EP/Blinds. If i am going to be OOP post flop, there either better be a real good read-based reason, or i need to put the last bet in preflop. Out of position, out of action, right?

Also, i have been finding the NL100 games on starts fairly tough. Much tougher than they were maybe a year ago IMO. At least a LOT more aggressive.

No sisters here, sorry.

Dropped almost 3 stacks at the 50's and not really due to any horrific plays really mostly just gettting outdrawn. People calling PSB's on the flop and turn with 2 of the same suiit out then shoving when the 3rd hits the river. One guy called my CRAI on the turn with a 2 random suited cards on a KQJK board with 2 clubs on it. Naturally his club hit on the river.

Basically that was my whole session and I jusr slowly bled chips... The good news is I'll likely smash through my amount of hands played goal for the month. Also my project on opening up my gae a little is so far coming along pretty well too. I bumped my VPIP and PFR range up a bit. Although after tonights session my BB/100 isn't looking so hot rightnow since I've done it.

Also played about 100 hands at the 100's and won a little over 1/4 stack there. Which helped offset my run at the 50's.

This is pretty standard right? I mean I guess I could go for a blocking bet on the river but I really can't see him doing anything else here but drawing to the flush right?

Now for some of the hawtness.....

You want none of me when I have my hand  I think villian had 68 here. What was really enjoyable about this was he bluffed me off TT on the turn when I 3 bet him from the SB and he showed it. Thanks for keeping it warm for me slugger. Last laughs are tite, and a decent chunk of my stack came from him. He was sitting with almost 90 when I joined the table. I'm guessing the 0.16 he left behind on the turn was to bluff the river with.

Hero ($92.05)
CO ($25.50)
Button ($51.00)
SB ($19.65)
BB ($67.91)
UTG ($48.30)

Preflop: Hero is MP with [7h], [7s].
1 fold, Hero raises to $1.75, 1 fold, Button calls $1.75, SB calls $1.50, BB calls $1.25.

BB bets $31, Hero raises to $55.3, BB calls $0.16 (All-In).

River: ($146.32) [Qs] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $170.46

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Villian had Qx here IIRC Q7 or Q6.... Well played Especially the river call, same table.

Hero ($162.21)
CO ($56.40)
Button ($49.25)
SB ($31.40)
BB ($51.50)
UTG ($44.80)

Preflop: Hero is MP with [Th], [Tc].
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.25, 2 folds, SB calls $2, BB calls $1.75, UTG folds.

Flop: ($7.25) [Qd], [Td], [2c] (3 players)

BB bets $10.9, Hero calls $10.90.

River: ($43.55) [Js] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $43.55, BB calls $31.10 (All-In).

Final Pot: $118.2

You're really not doing spectacular though when you have over 4 stacks on 1 table and you finish the session up 1.5 buy ins. The really annoying thing is the last 2 days I've gotten like no action on my AA hands. I've been winning the blinds like crazy though  .

Anyways I've also been reading the poker mindset and imasay 'tis pretty tite. I konw it's been mentioned before and touted but really is awesome for the mental game. Other than that AJs hand above I was pretty pleased with my play. For the session I was back to my usual ways.... Oddly enough when I stick to them I usually win, when I try opening up my game it's like throwing shit at a fan.... One day I guess :(
