My hand feels too strong to fold preflop to the initial raise but is it a fold given I'm going to be oop? I still don't feel comfortable folding a hand this strong given how fishy the tables are these days. Once it's 3bet I think I'm now getting far too good odds to fold and my positional disadvantage is lessened.

The 3-bettor in this hand seemed tighter than most running at about 27/12, nothing else really stood out. If I had to guess he has AAxx most of the time with some sort of wrap type hand the rest of the time, he's never doing this real light with 3457r or something imo.

Thoughts?

Did you consider betting out on the flop? Not sure how much I like it compared to your line, but it's a different way to approach this problem at least.

Preflop I think I would be tempted to fold too, although bear in mind I play a lot more full ring than 6-max. I think you're going to run into a lot of difficult situations postflop against a re-raiser with this hand, although I reckon you can easily argue for the call. I don't think its a decision that has a massive edge either way.

As to whether you stack off on the flop, beats me guess it depends on your read on opponent. I don't think 27/12 tells you a huge amount. Has he re-raised PF before?
