After looking over some of the stats on here lately I apparently have some issues somewhere. I left out the results as far as WR not to skew any thoughts, but I'm winning and doing okay. However I'm sure there's definately more $ to be made. (For anyone who might not know I decided to give a run at NL around the end of Aug).

My stats to me seem sub-optimal for SHNL. I'm a nit first of all and when I try getting a higher VPIP for whatever reason it becomes an abortion. Something somewhere is going awry post flop. In a skypecast Roy mentioned a Cbet frequence around 60% to be about optimal... I'm pretty damn close the that.

I know I don't steal anywhere near enough and it seems like when I try upping it in certain sessions I'm usually getting called PF and on my Cbets. Perhaps a coincidence but I don't know.

My Won$WSF however sucks, I don't know what needs to be done to increase this number.

Stats here include: NL10, NL20, NL50, and a few K hands at NL100.... NL50 probably makes up at least half of the hands though. There's a few K that have been left out over the last week or so which is where my rollercoaster sessions have been with me trying to change my game a bit. When I play nit mode things are usually peachy once I start "experimenting" with basically anything other than my usualy routine it tends to quickly unravel into the equivalant of a frog in a blender.

Also I've gotten my WTSD down a bit over the last week or 2 to where I'm right around 25%. I'm guessing if my W$WSF were in the 40's it would possibly drop that number down a bit as well?

The obvious thing is that you dont steal anywhere near enough. I need to do a bit more of this myself, but you are WAY too low.

Try this....every time its folded to you in the cutoff, raise with any pair, any ace, any 2 broadway cards, any suited ace, any 2 suited cards above a 9, any suited connectors from 45s and higher.......

If its folded to you on the button, do the same thing but if the clock shows an even number, raise any two cards as well.

See how that works for a while.

CB every flop until you start getting check raised.

Your actions after you raise preflop are similar to mine. However, your aggression factors are all lower than mine. This implies that you are too passive when you don't take the lead preflop.

So...you have 2 options (although improving at both is even better):

1.Play more aggressively when you are calling raises (or limping) preflop. By the looks of your stats you are too loose in the BB and this is probably why your stats look so passive - you are loose in the BB and play those hands too passive, which is a huge leak. This means C/Ring more flops from the BB or bluff raising in position. Look for boards that will miss villains range but hit yours.

2. Take the lead preflop more often. Steal more, isolate more, 3-bet more. By the looks of your stats you play against very loose opponents so isolate them and pound on them if they are not too stationy post flop. If you are thinking of limping, then raise instead. Not to say there are not reasons to limp, but do it less. Limping should be rare and usually only when calling stations have entered the pot already and you have a hand like 56s that you don't want to build a big pot with preflop.

To do these 2 things you don't even need to loosen up much. Instead of 16/10, aim for 16/13 and you will be a much bigger winner. Still, I think 18/15 is better and 20/17 better still.

I didn't have it earlier but here's my last 2 weeks of my minor adjustments. I was working on not going to the SD as much, stealing a little more, and upping my post flop aggression.. Although my Cbetting dropped a bit. There were a fair amount of instances I'd get flat called behind me or was multiway and I just checked some flops. Which I'm assuming accounts for some of my lower Cbet %. I'm ALMOST a 17/11
