Thank you for your reply, I find this type answer very helpful, and I will give your thoughts careful consideration, thanks again. I posted this question on 4 different boards and have received 1 other reply, that reply also spoke of blinds to stacks ratio, which makes good sense, both answers in effect are saying that due fluctuations in the games there is no set rule for any of my questions, and that comparisons are situational, anyone else care to add to this thread? I would like to hear more, thanks.

I DO use PT and PA HUD with tournies but I set the filters to not post to HUD without a minimum of 8 hands and to only examine the last 18 hands played. This allows me to get at a pretty good snapshot of what my opponents have been doing recently, re. blind structure. Wouldn't play without the two applications running. The data is especially helpful in the early-mid tourney phase.

I agree with E's Dad in that these tools are lousy for tournies . The programmers admit that the products were designed for ring play. They're promising a new, revamped combo product but I'm not holding my breath.

They have a beta you can download now but the HUD isn't yet available. Hope that helps.
