Hot Sauce huh, hmmm, is this stuff like nuclear hot, melt your tongue and leave your sense of taste numb for a month? Or does it actually have a flavor? I like spicy stuff as long as there is good flavor. Might give it a try if it does.

I work a block from Chinatown and get the priviledge of going a few blocks over to the best dumplings on the planet. They keep a bottle of sauce which looks exactly like the stuff Xaston showed. If it's the same stuff, its the best....period.
Of course I get the homemade stuff made by two old chinese ladies who sit in a small shop and make nothing but dumplings all day. 5 for 1.00. Grab 10 and head to the park to eat dumplings and sweat even in 20 degree weather.

Franks is very good and it's a staple in my [sorry excuse for a] kitchen. It add's flavor an a slight hotness to a lot of things. However, as has been previously stated, Frank's isn't a hot sauce.
Xas, that stuff you posted about, is it similar at all to chili paste? I love that shit. Asian chili paste adds so much flavor to so many things. With that and ginger sauce I think they pretty much have the condiment market cornered.
