Monday's session sucked, lost $117 when I had my aces cracked by KK, runner runner flush ftw and I got 3 bet out of the blinds by a fairy aggro regular, I had AQ OTB. Flop of 4Q2 rainbow, he led, I called, he checked the turn I put in a 2/3 PSB, he called, river bricked and we get it all in and he shows 44. GG poker gods. I'm amazed I didn't flop top two on such a dry board to compound my misery.

Last night I had another coaching session with KG and it went very well again. We got into a couple of tougher spots this time, made one bad play but generally it is agreed that I still run pretty bad. The good news is I'm making less and less mistakes.

It just seems that I'm constantly running into bigger hands, or there are sooo many instances where the turn or river makes the board so ugly I have to let it go. My 2nd barrels are working well though, and I feel my game improving and KG says that he can see the difference in my game from the previous session, so that's obv good.

We spent a fair amount of time looking through my biggest losers, and there are at least two horrible mistakes by me but generally an improvement.

We have got to the bottom of my biggest problem right now and it's not that I'm too aggressive or too passive generally, it's that I'm too aggressive in all the wrong spots and too passive when I should be raising.

KG is getting me to change my mindset a little, and before I act in a hand to think about raising, where as my mindset is generally call, rather that "what if I raise here, what can he continue with" or "I'm clearly beat, why the hell am I thinking about trying to push him off this" and so on.

We lost 6 dollars in all, over 250 hands, and I'm still winning for the month, 4 ptbbs over 2k hands.

I need to rant. BOY DO I NEED TO RANT.

Firstly, AP have yet again screwed up my account again.

So here's the letter I emailed them.

"Sir/Madam,

Approx two weeks ago, I dowloaded Absolute Poker and attempted to register a new account. I wasn't allowed to do so, getting an error code BC3436. I emailed you guys and asked what the problem was. As you can see from the email below, I was informed all was ok and I was free to deposit. I went to deposit, same thing.

So I called security. I was asked by a somewhat unhelpful lady if I have an Ultimate Bet account. I said yes. She said there was a problem with my UB account, and due to a security measure, I have to validate my UB account before I can deposit at AP. Even though I have successfully deposited, played and withdrawn at UB. I said fine, and contacted UB. They asked me to send some documents through, which I did, my UB account has now been reactivated.

So I try to deposit at AP again. SAME THING. I call security. I'm on hold for 10 mins, and the like goes dead. Ok, so I call again. I'm on hold again, 10 mins, and the line goes dead. I am being charged international dialling rates all this time.

I still cannot deposit on your site.

Is this how you treat all perspective customers at AP?

Rest assured that if this matter is not resolved promptly, I will not be trying to deposit at AP ever again.

Note, I am trying to DEPOSIT. I don't want to take money out, I don't wish to hack into AP's software and I don't want to join the CIA. It would presumably be easier to do so.

It's the same old shit, I miss my big draws, people keep hitting shit on me ALL the time, I get check raised off my cbets so often (my Flop AF is like 3.8, hardly spew) and all I seem to be doing is nailing someone for 100bb's by playing proper poker, and then I donate it to some fuckstick playing garbage and running at 50/12.

God help my BR if I ever run well for more than one session every fortnight.

I played around 15k hands on betfair... It's a good site to play at.. RB is nice, bonus is also nice.. Players are nice as well...

Software is awful because it's so monotone (blue color prevails), but there ARE 4color decks available.. you can select them at the table and IIRC, you have to select them every session...Also, if you multitable, it's really hard to see when it's your action because tables become smaller and cards become ridiculously smaller + the software is monotone and it really needs at least a week of adjustment in order not to miss action on 4+ tables...

There's no PAHUD support for betfair though, but one can use GT+..

So I FINALLY, managed to get up and running at AP this weekend, played a shit load, won some money, lost prolly more than I should.

Generally the players are absolutely terrible. But it also makes it harder to win money without having good cards and good flops. People just will not move from TPSK, or 2nd pair, or a bad draw. But w/e, I had to adjust and it took me a while to get used to the software and players and I think I've prolly done that now.

Was running like jesus h christ himself then obv MVP sat down and Sebbed me to death whilst one outering people himself. Ty dude.

All told I won $150+ including some sign up bonus.

The better news is I'm finally remembering what a flopped set looks like..
