So basically, we have decided to support israel, because for whatever reason, we decided that doing so was good for our national interests (god knows why, but it isnt per se a bad thing i guess...foothold in ME in insecure region, stability, blahblah i dno, goddam jews...)...

Anyways, so thats the basic reason that it happened, cause they dont like the fact we sided with teh jews in the israel debacle. So we thought it was a good thing and acted in accordance with what we beleived our interests to be, and we get bombed forit. Same with iraq, assuming there was a legitimate mistake in intelligence (and even if there wasnt, gettin saddam, a sworn enemy of ours who has countless times vowed to destroy us one day, wasnt that out of line anyway), we acted in accordance with our interests-- probably something alot of countries would have done. U think a sworn enemy has WMDs, you know that the first target is you, you takeim out, i dont think thats terribly unstandard or injust...

So lets see, the canadian solution to the problem is: DON'T DO WHAT YOU THINK IS IN YOUR NATIONAL INTEREST, EVEN IF IT SEEMS LIKE THE RIGHT THING TO DO, BECAUSE MAYBE A RAGHEAD MIGHT GET PISTOFF AND BOMB YOU!

Uhm... thats BS dood... Pullin up stakes over there is just gonna allow the terrorists to recover and orchestrate another 9/11. Whatever has transpired previously notwithstanding, at this point i really think we're obligated to finish what we started...
