The villain who shoved is best described as "erratic". Nothing specific I can point to, but a lot of his lines just don't seem to make any sense. Button seems decent - knows how to play position, so his 3-bet could simply be a position steal.

1. Is this a 4-bet from the SB? Fold? I called because I wanted to see what CO would do.

2. Does anyone actually fold to the shove given the stack sizes and the dead money in the pot?

3. If Button called the shove, my plan was to fold - he has my 150BB stack covered, and I don't think he'd call a shove lightly. Good plan, or would his call make a call/shove even more desirable?

I think this type of hand is heavily influenced by your style of play and the tables style of play.

Players like 12r, Roy, Sham, etc play a 20/17 type style (I assume) so they pretty much have to 4bet AK all day even OOP. People won't respect their raises so its a must.

However, what if you are a 21/10 guy? What if the tables tightish? In that situation (which I find myself in very often), AK is almost never good after he pushes there.

So it depends.
