Just a small "i'm stoked" thread, just hit my $10k bankroll mark!!! It actually came about quite amusingly too, had some some donk on my table berating another player and this guy was pretty bad himself, so I kinda hinted that he should'nt really be telling others how to play (he was 46/17/1.8 after 180ish hands) and i'd seen him make some stupid plays....so he gets all defensive and challenges me HU, so I tell him i'm waiting on a 1/2 HU table for him and tells me he won't play me lower than 5/10. I tell him that its outside of my BR and to come to the 1/2 table and stop making excuses, he refuses and says no less then 3/6. OK. i know I can outplay him and it won't kill my BR if he runs hot. So he joins the 3/6 HU table i'm at and then literally the 9th hand comes this .......

Anyways feels good to get there after starting at NL10 last June....hope it's a bit of motivation as well for you guys grinding it NL10 now...stick with it and just keep learning and improving and you'll get there!!

How long did it take and how much did you start with?

I had a similar experience once. I was playing 1/2 and had a guy start challenging me to HU. I told him no a few times and then finally said "fine, but its 5/10 or nothing"...figuring that would shut him up. However, he agreed.

I had played plenty of 5/10 at that point and had the roll for it so I wasnt too worried about it. I stacked him on the 5th hand and he insta dissappeared.

I saw him the next day back at 1/2 and he claimed to not remember me.
