barring that, the only reasonable hands I can think of are a gutshot that got there or Axhh that believes its now picked up 4 extra outs. Total air is possible too i suppose. I have no idea how these games play.

Why would someone raise utg, check/call the flop and check/raise the river? Because they are like about 80% of (bad) players who freeze up when they flop a set, and can't act strong until they see you act strong first.

If you had a read he was solid or tricky or whatever, I'd be confused. Against an unknown, I put him on a big hand and a tiny brain.
