I'm trying to help improve friend's play who is just starting out and sat in with him at a 10NL table and introduced Poker Tracker to him and trying to put people on hand ranges.
The following hand came up and I've had criticism of the way I played it.
Small blind is a tight player with solid stats 20/15 and seems to be playing ABC poker. Big Blind is loose aggressive running at around 35/25.
10NL - Poker Stars
5 handed
Stack sizes
Button $8
Hero $12
UTG$9
Small Blind $8.80
Big Blind $3.20
Hero dealt 8

UTG folds
Hero raises to 0.40
Button folds
Small Blind calls
Big Blinds raises all-in for $2.80
My best play?
I'd put likely ranges for both as follows:
Small Blind: AQ,TT-22
Big Blind: AQs+ AK, any pair, some bluffs
Are these ranges I've guessed accurate given the stats and if so how should this dictate my play?
