Say $200 to $400 NL 6-max. You have [7c] or similar in the BB. Folds to Villain who makes a standard raise to 3.5x or 4x the BB. Folds to you.

What percentage of the time do you call, 3-bet, and fold?

OK obviously it depends on your read on the Villain and the position from which the Villain raised. So let's take 2 examples.

(1) Villain is CO and aggressive (say top 15% of aggro opponents);
(2) Villain is OTB and only average in aggressiveness

As I've moved back to 6-max these situations come up more and more often.

I generally call with all of them and then, in the words of Tuff_Fish, I check-raise them out of their seats.
