To be honest, I've only skimmed most of this thread so I don't become all emotionally charged by everything. I do have some strongly held views.
-Global warming has become incredibly politicized. There is nothing that deters scientific search for truth more than politicization. It is common if you are scientist not in favor of global warming, etc. that you have your funding yanked, etc.
- I don't know if global warming is genuine or not ( I lean not); but I'm very confident that the air quality in most major cities is terrible. Why not work to limit fossil fuels based on indisputable air quality concerns instead of global warming.
