I'm much more in favor of varying styles. Mine's 26/15 at NL 50 and I play 20/12 or 30/20.
By playing one style you make yourself predictable and/or giving up +EV against non-thinking opponents that don't match your style.
Of course I don't see the point in raising 66 with a table full of STAGS just to get re-raised by 78s or AJ - because you "can't" play unless you raise - and fold pre-flop or put in 12 BBs just to hit a 2 outer and maybe stack the person behind me. And if they are a thinking player that will only put me on a PP I would either open up my range/increase bluffing frequency or go to a different table.
Oh yeah if you have a 40/4 fish in the blinds that will call any and every raise don't build big pots without a hand they are calling you down with Q4 on a Q high board anyways.
