I Huckabees - 2004(just saw this...and it has some really weird scenes but some excellent dialogue between Hoffman and Wahlberg, and Tomlin and Schwartzman own as well)

The Band's Visit - 2007(Just saw this last night in the theater; pretty decent movie, it might move a little slow, but obviously because of the location of the film and the whole story, it's understandable and effective.)

Just start with those before delving into the deeper list so you can catch up. And don't watch ANY Scorcese or Coppola movies before you've watched Goodfellas and Godfather 1&2.
