I'm trying to post some more interesting spots in a play-along-with-me type of fashion so that's what this is.
So there's a pretty interesting interesting dynamic at this table. There are 3 of us at the table who have been playing for about 2-3 hours. The table is 5 handed with 2 relative unknowns.
Lebgrrl is one of the biggest HS fish on the site and has been playing the whole time. (s)he was sitting with $7k when I sat to their left and we were HU. He plays 52/9/1.8 and never 3bets pf, does a lot of limping with his monsters, bluffs in bad spots, etc.
About 20 minutes later Thijs sits to my left. Thjis is very very good from what I've seen. He is playing about 34/23/3 and in the first hour or so of us playing 3-handed he was 3betting me a decent amount, re-isolating. Since the table has become 5-6 handed he has quietened down and hasn't 3bet me in over an hour.
Both of us have taken a decent amount off Lebgrrl and other than the first hour have mostly stayed out of each others way (moreso me than him - as he has position on me).
I have ~$4,700 and he covers.
UTG (lebgrrl) folds, I pick up
in the CO and make it $70. Thijs makes it $222, the blinds fold and it's back to me.
Hero?
Poker is silly.
It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.
Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
