So I got my first coaching session in, and we disagreed on 2 hands basically... Here was one that I played the way he wanted me to, and not exactly how I would've played it myself...

Pf looks fine, the flop looks fine - i might bet a bit more on the turn (like $22) and once he shoves i don't think you have enough room to fold.

edit: oh it's stars, not absolute.

Still..

Looking over this hand again I don't think folding to his flop raise is too bad.

I think a raise more on the flop is better. We cant really think he has the flopped nuts, if he does I guess good for him. Personally I would raise to $18 and then shove the turn.

Yeah I don't like your flop line, I would either call or fold.

Any reads on BB? I think reads are very important on boards like this.

Against a very aggressive player I might call the flop and CR a safe turn looking to get it in.

Against a very passive player I'm probably calling and looking to hit my boat.

Either way I don't think this is the type of flop to b3b with bottom 2.
