I've had the same phone for about 3 years, and when I got it, it was like 2 years old. Basically it's a ridiculously old phone and all I use it for is to make phone calls and sms people (that's TEXT people for you Americans).
I've been wanting to get a new phone for well over a year but have been a) too lazy and b) unable to decide what I want.
I basically just want a phone that'll let me check my e-mails wherever I am and be like a mini-organiser. What's really important is that it's easy to type long messages on. My current phone has some sort of delay where if you try to type a message too fast it skips some letters which can be a real pain. I'm guessing most new phones won't have this flaw, though, so I'm looking for opinions on whether to get a standard style phone (ie abc, def, ghi) or a blackberry style phone (qwerty) or a full keypad.
I've been looking at the Nokia N95 8gb edition: .
This seems like a bit of overkill for what I want but a few of my friends have it and I don't know much about what other phones are out there which is why I've been looking at it.
Also the blackberry Pearl, Curve and 8800 series (all here: ). These look pretty cool and professional but I'd be interested in hearing what people have to think about them.
Thoughts/opinions would be greatly appreciated.
