Ok, makes sense.
Anyhow, I think several things vindicate the betting out on the flop (and specifically the PF call): He's one of those who will raise AJ (which is probably about even money against your hand). Against that guy, I'd push the draw, and surely then he does fold AJ--and you just won a pot that's plenty big to justify the PF call without even making your draw.
I think LAGs are great for playing SCs even OOP precisely because you can get a decent size pot going, then pull the trigger with a shove on the draw and usually take it down there because they'll have no more ability to take it away from you. And if they do have an acceptable call hand, you have your outs as backup plan.
P.S.: I'm glad NOBODY at the 50s will raise AJ on that board. I'd definitely have to change some of my plays...
