This is a first hand I had with this guy. I am at the table only 3 hands and have no numbers on opponent.
I have a gut feeling he is pulling one but can I call??

Hero shouldn't bet the river here. Ch/call or ch/fold...betting isn't great, and making a weak blocking bet is even worse (it's asking to get shoved on).

In all my wiseness of thinking I am not folding this ever I made weak bets to make a big enough pot so he would stay in.
The king did scare me though so I had to bet more.


Good point on the turn in hand one. Often later in sessions vs these kind of players I am giving them too much rope.


BTW he had A8 and flopped quads.

But good reminder for myself is to not change my play too much vs these guys.
