I'm not a huge fan of peeling, but it's not terrible. The thing is that I'm not sure that you're getting his whole stack if a T falls, which is what pushes me to folding.

I really think you need a read here to play this optimally. Does he 3-bet AQ/AK in the blinds especially since you probably have a high steal % and are opening in LP or is he the type to smooth call with those? Does his CR mean his hand is strong (like a set) or does he just like to put moves?

If he is strong here then I may peel 1 card sine we are so deep and is more likely to pay us off. We only need to take a bit over half his stack to make this profitable.

If he's the type to put moves on you or CR lightly then I would just give it to him and wait for a better spot.

If you really don't know then I would still pass but take a mental note and look out if he does it again in the future.

Then that means he has no reads on you either. I probably fold then.

Besides, I think the general consensus is that Stars is a bit more passive than FT, but that's just what I heard so take it fwiw...
