Beavis yes it is possible to belong to a church and not agree with everything that a pastor says. Good people can have bad, wacky, or stupid views on topics and still be good people. I have a friend that believes that everything has a soul and that people that eat meat, eggs are immoral. This guy has been one of my good friends since I was 5 years old. If I make him my kids godfather does that mean I agree with him?

Obama really is the opposite of Bush, he is charismatic and comes across as incredibly well spoken, if he was a white guy with the same qualities running in this environment he would be a almost a guarantee to win. This race isnt really about Hillary or McCain. The one thing that really defines this election is racism. Can Obama over come all the Racist, Ignorant morons who will vote for anyone but him just because he is black and his middle name is Hussein.

Ice your example is poor logic. Going to a church does not automatically mean you agree with everything a preacher says, people go to church to do many things make friends, get closer to god or whatever. The ONLY reason someone goes to a KKK meeting is to continue the hate. Listening to 2 or 3 speeches that people find offensive out of 20 years isn't even close to the same thing as attending KKK meetings. I assume it is just your way but walking out serves no purpose, personally I'd listen to what the guy had to say. Understanding where people get the basis's for their ignorance is really the only way you can change it.
