This post is mainly a self-reminder after a hand last night that I should have (but didn't) lay down. And I hate to admit that it's far from the first time that I've fallen for this play:
You bet pot on the flop and get a call. Blank turn, you bet and now villain raises. I think bottom set is a clear fold here on normal boards. If it's a monotone flop and you have the nut flush, well, I don't know whether I can actually lay down that, but I'd double-check for straight flushes in any case. And I think non-nut flushes are just obvious laydowns in that spot.
The point is: They have a very big hand here.
