Poop, I only play 4.

I do it at times too, although it's not really from being rushed. It's more like I make a decision about the hand before my opponent acts. Basically one of my famous "clicking before thinking" moments. And I don't play a ton of tables 3-4 usually, 4 preferred.

This is true for basically every poker player...it takes extreme discipline to always think things through, and it takes a long time with much practice to make it a habit. Just work on having the discipline to not doing anything in a snap way unless you were already planning on it (ie. 3betting with AA and snap calling a shove...).

I've toyed with the idea of at least waiting until the warning signal starts beeping before I make a decision on any decision I'm involved with in a hand (even if I know what I want to do). Partially to give myself some additional time, and partly to try and avoid any timing tells... However I don't always stick with it.

yeah, being in the hot seat is kinda a bitch. but there are advantages to snap bluffs too. timing tells can be manipulated imo. but i think borderline calls should be thought about. if the thought 'eh...' enters your mind, you know... think about it for a sec. i try to anyway.
