First i will address escapePlans post:
I have played well over 1000 sngs online ranging from $2-20. Probably just as many live, but for higher buyings... 9-90 players. I am profitable. I need you guys to get off the fact that I don't know how to play. The chips are going in when I have the best of it at that time.
Just because I play differently, does not mean otherwise. I get knocked out of SNGs when an ICM devotee bigstack pushes with 23s preflop and I have bullets AND I have 2nd place equity in the tournament when two other stacks are on the verge of busting ... I am sorry -EV or +EV, I am calling. I may fold in a satellite with flat payout.
I rarely put my whole stack at risk if I don't have to, period, yet I can donk it off if I have misread my opponent. I don't know anyone who hasn't made that mistake.
I feel KQs is a favorite over any two suited and most broadway. Poker stove has them at 62/37 and 60/40, respectively. I must emphasize that I am not calling with it, but I will push this hand on the bubble against tight blinds. I might call in a 10:1 rule.

As for Snyder, Underground, I was pretty sure you had not read his book. I felt that read was pretty solid. Yes, rochambeau is a tool he uses and it makes a lot of sense, and if you think ICM is a great model for making push or calling decisions near the bubble; remember, there is still 95% of the poker game left.. non bubble.
Chips = Rock, Scissors = Position, Paper = Cards. I read his book in January. I use this concept and have taken down more tournaments in 7 weeks tham I have in two years I have been playing online. I plan on using it in a Live tournament I am shooting for next month. My wife is pregnant and I don't get to live as much as I used to.
I am tending to play more 45-90 player SNGs than 9 player SNGs because I can accumulate chips. I have had to use ICM once since I read the book... and I took that tournament down.. otherwise I breeze thru bubbles. I don't win every game, but I am winning more games with larger prize pools.. and I am using rochambeau to make preflop decisions. Sounds crazy?
Look at that hndsoffmystak again.
