Haven't played long enough on the table to get a read on UTG. I've been very active with raising limpers and late-position raising.
PF: Obv std.
Flop: My thought process: "Hurrah TPTK! Probably not going to make any money in this hand... wait... a min-raise here? Why?"
I'm only worried about a couple hands, which are way ahead of me, and am way ahead of all the others. The hands I'm most worried about given the action so far is if he was loose enough to raise 22/33 UTG (I mean, I do it cuz PPs are the nuts, but he may not). Otherwise, I lose to a fancy played AA/KK (KK even more unlikely obv), and tie AK. I beat out any bluffs or weaker pairs (I sometimes see players min-raise here with 99-QQ).
In the actual hand, I thought it was unlikely he was playing fancy with AA or KK or raised 22/33 UTG, so I called the raise. Shoving wouldn't accomplish anything here except folding out hands I am well ahead of, tying AK, and losing to hands that crush me. I've already decided I'm not folding, just waiting for him to put in his stack first.
