Here are all of my big losing pots

1) Mistake by me. I should have folded. I thought he could be doing this with air because it seems that when a regular calls a PF raise in position, they are floating/bluffing 75% of the time. He had the nuts (AJ) there

2)Vs a LAG. He had 13 outs on the river.

3)JBPresident, a 94/60 donk, (From my biggest pot ever: see this link -> ) calls my raise from the SB. I have A9. Flop is 955. He checks, I bet, he min-raises, I raise again. We get it all-in on a blank turn. He has J5. I probably could have folded that, but I lose a stack.

4)Vs the same 31/27 LAG above in #2. I lose AK vs TT all-in PF.

5)Vs JBPresident, l lose another flip AJ vs 77

6)Vs same guy as #1 above. I flop top two pair and he has bottom set. Nice cooler there.

7)I flop TPTK with AK. Donk calls my full pot flop and turn bets with naked flush draw. I pay him off on the river when flush hits (but we only had 1/3 pot left). I could have probably saved $60 but donk could have easily had TPGK.

8)AA < 88 vs JBPresident all-in PF

9)I see a free flop at 400NL with 52o. I flop two pair. A 39/18 guy hits better two pair on river. Lost $100 there.

10)KK < 77 all-in PF at 100NL. Board is 728 7 K. Obviously

11)I try and bluff a TAG with TT on a K92 rainbow flop at 100NL. I figure he can only continue with AK, KK or AA. He has AK. Oops

12)200NL. I Raise TT from MP. The 21/15 TAG calls behind me in the CO. BB Calls. Flop comes K42r. BB Checks, I bet 3/4 pot, CO calls, BB folds. Turn is another K. I check, he bets just under half pot (WTF?) I check-raise representing AK and he pushes. I obviously fold. Is this a good bluff? he can only continue with 22 or 44, right?

13)400NL. Donk limps from UTG. Other Donk in SB completes (Hes running 41/12 and has me covered). I raise with AT in the BB. Only SB calls. Flop is 952 rainbow. Pot has $42 in it, and he leads for $14. Huh? I just call. Flop is an Ace and it completes the rainbow. He checks and I bet $43 in the $60 pot. He calls. River is a 3. He checks, and I check behind. He has A4 for the rivered gutshot. wow. Lost $75 there.

14)200NL Donk min-bets. 2 callers and I call in the BB with 65o. Flop is T74r. I am Open ended. Flop checks through. Turn is an 8. Ding! I bet and get 2 callers. River is a harmless 3, and I bet again putting the half stack guy all-in. He had J9 for the nuts. Oops.

So I've been playing exclusively at Full Tilt now for the last 11 months, and I decided to look back at all my pokertracker databases and see how I have been doing.

100NL 6 max:
89,985 hands: +$9,042.45 = 5.02 ptbb/100

200NL 6 max:
47,776 hands: +$1,720.25 = 0.90 ptbb/100

400NL 6 max:
534 hands: +$534.10 = 12.5 ptbb/100

So I am crushing 100NL, but I'm just barely making money at 200NL. WTF? i wonder if it has something to do with me being a little bit LAGgier at 100NL (22/16) vs 200NL (19.5/15).

I'm looking forward to having a coach help me out with this.

So I had my best day ever a few days ago where I profitted +1200. But I'm back to my old ways and running like shit again.

I've never been a big fan of PokerEV graphs, but I had to take a look

Here are the last two days

Image

And here is the whole month

Image

Nothing like running $1,300 below expectation after only 10,000 hands, huh?

I am supposed to have a coaching session with Twelver tonight, so maybe he can teach me how to run hot.

Update on my 5000 hand/$2000 goal.

I now have 2100 hands. I am now down for the 2 days. I am $1050 below expectation. That = 11.7 ptBB/100

Since the beginning of March, I am over $3000 below expectation in 15,000 hands.

I have lost the will to play any more poker. I'm actually sick of it right now. I'm in two tournaments right now, and I'm going to blind out and watch the rest of The Wire season 1.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

I'm sure it's more than likely you're just running like shit. However if it's mentally screwing up your game it might not be the worst thing in the world to drop down till you regain some confidence. Although I wouldn't take it all out JUST to start over from the 100's. There will likely be some point in the future where you want to play your normal level again when the bad run subsides.
