Facts.
1. there is nothing worse that going to a job each day that you hate
2. if you ever have an opportunity to work at something that you love doing (even if the unknown exists of whether you may love it tomorrow - for example many people get married and then divorced-shit changes-love turns to hate- no guarantees in life) do it. It is rare to be able to work each day at something you love.
3. You will have other opportunities later in life to go pro
4. You will most likely not ever have this particular opportunity in front of you that inlcludes $ 0 debt, $ 0 living expenses and living with you parents..that just doesn't work out when your 30 and girls start thinking your wicked creepy when you still live with your parents.
My advice is to tell them you will take the job and from the moment school ends play poker at a minium of 40 hrs per week for 3-4-weeks...I'm pretty sure somewhere in those weeks something else will happen to you that will result in you
a) showing up at that job on day 1
b) calling them the day before you are to start and telling them thanks but I got a much better offer at the last minute because you decided you want to continue your poker journey.
And the reality is..even if you decide after 6 months you cannot play poker for a living you can always go back into the job market- you will always have the degree- and you can tell them you helped a friend start up a company after you graduated to fill in the time missing on your resume. Surely there are some "owners" of businesses on here who would confirm that for you if asked. If not I will.
Go do what you love. Always.

If you're good enough you will always make money. The PLO games right now are softer than the NLHE games were a couple of years ago.
