Background info......villain in this hand is a total donk. I honestly think he is just starting out playing poker because he is bad , but bad in a way thats hard to describe. Every move he makes...makes no sense. Right now hes burning up the table though.

Example of his badness...

#1) I have 62 in the BB..couple limpers. Flop Q96...I check/ call his $2 bet.
Turn 7...I check. he bets $2..I check raise to $12 and he calls.
River A..Check/.check..he has AT.

#2) I raise $7..get 2 callers. Flop AJx. Checked to him and he bets $2 into the $23 pot. I have TT and think he has a J but call anyway to see.
Turn some brick..he bets $2 again...I would raise alot of guys here but this guy wont fold any piece..so i call.
River bricks....check/check...He has QJ.

He min raises all the time with 96...83...T7..whatever. No rhyme or reason to anything he does.

So heres the hand...I have $250..He covers

I raise to $7 with [9s] in the cutoff. Button calls. Villain calls in BB.

Pot $22. Flop [7s][5s]. He open pushes.

He bets $2 with nothing or a small piece, but no idea WTF this means. Call or fold?

i expect to see alot of nutflushdraws with maybe an 8s for the gutshot.

I expect to be 50/50 vs his range.. since there is allready some money in the pot i call.

Pokerstove says that it's about 48/52 giving him a very nutoriented range..


In the moment i instant call, but since you like to play very low variance style i advocate a fold for you.

i fist pump snap call, and way2go i think you are giving this guy to much credit from the hands that ice described.

How do you know what his range is if he bets $2 into $25ish pots all the time and this time bets $700 into a $22 pot (really only $250 since thats the most I or the other player in the hand had, but you get my point).

I honestly have no idea what he has, but it cant be just a pair (maybe an overpair? who knows)

What are you laughing at? Him having a T, when theres no T on the board?

I like Stoneburg's thinking here. You can bust him in more 1 hand if you call and win this. That is worth a lot.

Add in the fact that you are rarely in real bad shape and this is a pretty easy call.
