Update:
they did not use my muney to fund the freeroll.
They claim that the payment processor drew the check from the "wrong account." I have been back and forth with their cashier department for the last month and a half trying to get it resolved. They did put some $ in my account (heh) to cover the return item fee I got charged by the bank after I complained... and no, that irony was not lost on me.
Long story short, I still have not made a successful cashout, and I'm getting a bit irritated.
