Special weekend

After receiving my first paycheck from work, I used $100 of it towards PS 100% to $100 bonus for past e-passporte members by using their e-check system. I haven't checked bonus whores, but from my investigation, here is how bonus clearing is going for my stakes:

$1 tourney fee = 6fpp (known by 14-tabling 6.5s and making 42fpps)
~1 hour of 6-tabling NL25 = 65fpp

So if I continually 6-table NL25 I'll clear the bonus about 35% faster than DNGs.

I played an hour of NL25 today for the first time in about 3 weeks. Nothing special - profitted $30, still have the same 13.5 ptbb/100 rate.

Bonus Cleared 145 / 2000. I have about 3 months til it expires, and it'll take about 35 more hours to finish clearing for the $100 (assuming I continually 6-table NL25). I can do that with a little more effort than usual. I usually only play 2 hours a week, but if I up it to averaging 3 hours a week I'll clear it. That or I make enough to move up in stakes and also clear it faster.

I recently decided I want to take guitar lessons again. This time concentrating on lead guitar playing - so learning the scales and bettering my techniques (sweeping, pinch harmonics, preciseness and consistency mostly). A couple paychecks from now I'm buying a new guitar - I still have my old amp that's "okay".

Buckethead is too sick. I want to learn some of his tracks like Soothsayer or King James. I'd love to even play some of the solo parts at half the speed of him.

Played another hour session of NL25 with great results! $85 profit! WOOT! Finally got my bankroll over $1000 again!

7.5k hand update - 15ptbb/100 now!

Wtf? Only 49fpp that hour. Meh. Might have to do... FOUR hours a week!!!! Or maybe by the end of this month I'll move up to NL50. I plan to make the jump up there when I have near 25 BIs - which would be $1250, so $220 left to achieve that. I hear there is little difference between NL25 and NL50, so I'm not worried really.
