Was it okay to call the check raise on the river? iI'd already called this girl down with absolute garbage before and taken pots from her....

I would have checked the river with that board and called the bet. However any time you have a read on someone and you followed that read you made the right play.

That is what makes limit harder to play then NL. players are going to see a flop for a raise with 2 suited and connectors and even great hands like K-9 off suits. The good thing about playing limit is the great hands like K-9 off suit are going to lose more then they win.

This is going to sound stupid but I would rather have AK suited in limit then AA. This is not the case in NL. The reason is I can get away from AK but it is impossible for me to lay down AA.

Meh. What are you going to do? I prolly check/call with every draw getting there, but thats because I am a weak asshole who's playing scared and seeing ghosts right now. Against a lot of players this is a bet/fold because I can't see a normal player raising anything less than the straight. With a read that she can raise with garbage its a bet/call.

I'm not really adding much to the discussion, but I like a check/call here. As noted however, you went with your read so it's all right.

If that deuce pairs, you have to raise that river...but I think the calldown is good. My advice is to resuck out on opponents when needed.

I agree with Ant; I play it the same way. I've seen flush draws raise the hell out of the flop like that. You just got unlucky that the turn paired him up.
