Do I do something different on the turn when there are so few cards that leave me happy about my hand (just pairing the board and a 7 or 8 of non spade). Do you try for a check raise or do you just play it like I did.

I have played with the villain quite a bit and he seems decent. I don't know why I only called the flop as I thought he had a set and I couldn't fold on the turn but I called thinking i likely only had 2 outs for the straight flush.

Does this just reek of quads too much to call? what about the turn? Can I really fold the turn? This is some of the most fishy betting i've seen.

Here I ended up just draw for a split while one had a freeroll on me. Could I really fold the river for such a small amount but with a caller?

Hand 1: I like your play. No guarantee anyone will bet if you check it, and that'd be a real shame. You're out of position so if people are going to draw and you're going to have to call a river, you might not want the pot to be big enough for you to be bluffed out of it either. If there's a short stack who I can check-raise all in (or close to it) I might consider it.

Hand 2: I think you played it fine, though there's no real reason not to push in on the flop if you're not folding to a paired turn, but it makes no difference either way so it's an utterly moot point. Nonetheless, raising the flop was good IMO, plenty of fold equity and a great drawing hand, plus you establish momentum and deception in the hand that you can use later if the board pairs to bluff him off a similar draw. It didn't quite go to plan once he raised you, though!

Hand 3: If he didn't have the 3 he had KK or QQ most likely so I think the river fold is shrewd. He's BB also, which means the 3 is perfectly probable. His odd stop-go betting looked like quads, yep. I guess against this guy you have three options on the turn, I'm not too sure which'd be best out of a raise (probably least good), a call and a fold, but I'd have played it exactly as you did. Read on opponent is important.

Hand 4: Sorry, I think your river call was horrible :D . How can you not be beat here? I like the way you played it, though, not shoving on such a vulnerable board (with an almost certain 2-way split) on the turn was very sensible. River call was burning up $6 mind you, the passive player has to be on a draw of some sort and with TWO opponents in it's mighty improbable for them to not have some flush cards or a boat BETWEEN them, what else could they have been betting on earlier? Don't be too worried though, I lost $33 today when I had to leave the computer in the middle of a SnG

My thoughts anyhow.
