I am trying to mix up my game a little. I know that it really doesn't matter at the $25 tables but I am looking ahead to the $100 tables

Around 60% change that someone has the 3 or 55. if nobody does I can take it down right here, if I am against 3xxx then I have a bunch of outs, and I have low outs against 55, 53. I also think that 35, 55 will raise here and I can lay this down knowing that I am way behind.

After thinking about this hand I thought that a CR on the flop may be the best play. It may knock out a low 3 right there and if it doesn't I am about 50/50 against them. The major downside is that I am going to get hurt if someone has 35 or 55.

Eww. With 2 players I assume that I am beat both ways and would prefer to keep my last $7. I don’t think that a $7 bet will push him off anything and obviously I will call if he puts me all in

What do you guys think? I am very torn about this hand, I really feel like I over played it but I think that playing it passively would be even worse. Also I will bow to anyone who can guess the two playing cards in caller1's hand. Hint: play like his is why I love and hate the $25 tables.

I'm guessing AA ... I think your take on this hand is pretty good... I hadn't considered CRing the flop, though it sounds like a swashbuckling idea, these are things I really should consider more often (8-tabling against morons and solid players I find I'm playing a lot more robotically these days!)... However, maybe at the $25 games you might not be able to remove weak 3's with this play. Still, your take on things seems to be pretty much spot on here. I can't see how you can fail to bet on the turn and relinquish your lead on the hand.

Well, the hand that would make me lmao is if caller1 has 33 and just calls/checks it down. Please don't tell me this happened.

He was playing QQ. Which means on the flop he called a pot sized bet with just an over pair, then didn't raise the turn when he hit his 2 outer, and then checked behind on the river with 2nd boat.

I am a little pissed off that he hit his 2 outer but I am very happy that he didn't take my last $7!

C/R or not, I don't think you're ever going to knock someone off flopped trips on the $25 tables. It's a very smart play, but you gotta remember, smart plays usually only work on smart players.

I'd still have pushed my nut low draw with flush draw as you did, especially if I think I can take a side pot with it (hoping of course that the smaller stack is the one with the boat).
