Heh heh, the accidental fold was no biggy. My bad for messin up by still playing when i was under $10, the point of the $60 thing didn't hit me till like 10 minutes afterwards! As I told you before, I'm easily confused, especially when a charming woman is involved.

P.S. Please let me know when you recieve the transfer on Stars, I get antsy about these things.

Hi tighty,

The transfer went through fine. Thanks very much, I thought I really had very little chance when you climbed above 100.00,

Piers emailed me and told me to leave you alone. He said I was too much woman for you and not to take advantage of another gringo  I just think he is jealous, I may have to call him out.

Well, despite leaping to a healthy -$200 in record time today, things eventually turned around and I booked a nice $340 win! It's not so much that the suckouts stopped, they just kinda reversed direction, much to the dismay of my awestruck opponents. :D

I'll post a hand that fits well into the category of "Looks great when it works, and idiotic when it doesn't!" I have a lot of these hands in my database. When my opponent lead out on the flop, I thought there was a good chance he was on the draw. His stop'n'go reinforced this theory, so I decided I'd grit my teeth and bet/raise the river unless a straight card fell, fully willing to accept that there was an excellent chance I'd come out of the hand looking like a complete moron. Because hell, even if it didn't work, I could rationalize it off as an "image-building play!"

Ker-POW! BLAMMO! WALLOP! And so forth. On the whole, I've been playing a bit too recklessly lately, as is clearly exhibited above...but hell, I'm a firm believer in the idea that your job should be fun, and I'm not having fun unless I'm betting or raising at every reasonable opportunity. And some occasional unreasonable opportunities. :)

As I've said, I now have one TW-Challenge match in the books, and it was a jolly good time, despite being a rather expensive one! Still looking for takers, especially among all you limit buffs that'd love nothing more than to give TW a savage beating on his own turf. Come on...Nawton, Bri, Piers, Mecos? As a special deal, I'll give an addition $25 overlay to any NL-specialist who wants to give it a go, meaning I pay $75 if you win and you only pay $50 when I win. That is a deal worth of shaking a large stick at! Or however the expression goes.

Current limit : 3-6 LHE
Current Bankroll : $3238

I would love to do the challege if I had been having a better run for my financial situation. You are much better at monkey poker than me so I don't want to have to pay out 100+ bucks like you.

The No-Fold-'em-Challenge match #2 has taken place, and I knew it wouldn't be easy. I was against the Grand Vizier of Mizorship himself, MecosKing. We both got off to a pretty quick start, with the general theme being that Mecos seemed to hit every god-damned flop, and I had an uncanny knack for calling with bottom pair and hitting trips. That theme continued for pretty much the whole match.

The tide began to swing in my favor after I bonked Mecos in a couple of biggish pots. Granted, both were rather cruel suckouts on my part, but hey these things happen! Just as long as they don't happen to me.

I was up around $100 from the original $50, when I went into a decline just as Mecos went on a rush. In short order I was down into the 20's with him up around 80 or 90. I actually fell all the way to $6, but then clawed my way back up when my ace-high beat mizor-boys king-high and I won a huge pot with AQ against a maniac that kept sucking out horrendously on both of us. After that hand, I just kept flying high and Mecos was taking some awful beats, usually after flopping straights. I actually almost felt sorry for the guy, until I remembered that the bastard made $2500 in the last two days. Hard to feel sorry for that.

The match finally ended with some rather anticlimactic hand where mecos was all-in against me and some other dude. The "some other dude" won with A6s, despite the cappage preflop. Had he folded like a good boy, MK's QJ would've beaten my 22 and the damn match would probably still be going, so thank god we weren't the only mizors at the table! I ended up $19 over my initial buy-in, so a total profit of $69 on the match. What pissed me off to no end was that mecos seemed to get the better of me in most of our one-on-one confrontations...it didn't help that I pulled such stunts as check-raising him twice with 42o (and a gutshot) when he had some sort of top two pair nonsense going on. I really get the feeling that he was hitting some cards against me, but I could be wrong and he was bluffing on every occasion except for those on which I tried to "keep him honest." Hard to say, and I doubt the mizor's gonna tell.

Absolutely, Bri...after an orbit or two, you can tell the rest of the table is loosening up. 5-way capped pots and fun stuff like that. You'll also get people calling us down with pretty much anything after the hands we've shown. And yes, there was quite a bit of trash-talk going on in the backround...but that was mostly mecos, I'm far too classy for that sort of nonsense.

It seems this rag is in dire need of some updating, no? First off, I never did an end-of-week report from last week, so here it comes:

Hours played...13:00
Total gain...$373
Hourly rate...$28.70/hour

DISMAL! 13 bloody hours!!? I feel like Kenny fucking G! In my defense, I had a lot going on last week, and...ummmm...okay, actually I didn't have a lot going on last week. Shit.

Anyway, my bankroll has taken a bit of a dip of late; first off, I didn't make quite enough to cover my $500 cashout, secondly I've elected to donate $500 to the "iceman's a wussy who needs backers" fund :D...and finally, the last few days have been fucking awful.

So, I'm trying to gear down a bit, play a bit tighter than normal and just ride it out. That being said, I'm playing while writing this, and it seems I just 3-bet someone with 87s. There goes tightening up! :?

Current limit : 3-6 LHE
Current Bankroll : 2200

Is it just me or limit players like tighty and mecos are insane? I think it's all the bad beats.
