Live MTT with 139 players - same table, seat for 2.5 hours. No hands first 3 rounds so I was short stacked all the way.

Blinds coming up 1000, 500 with 100 antes. Full table and 2 new players. One in seat 3 and I am in seat 4.

I have gone all-in 7 times in the past 25 hands or so. Won 4 without a show down and I showed 99, AT and AK when all folded to me.

I was able to grow $700 to $7500 in chips this way and there were 36 players left.

UTG with . Since I had been going all-in so many times (less than 10xBB) I decided to raise to $4000 to show that I had a better hand and was not stealling.

All folded to the BB who had me covered about 2 times.

He decided to go all-in and I called right away - a true coin flip 50/50.

Turn and river were and I was out.

Question? Should I have passed (blinds were coming up) or go all in?

The problem with these Tnrs is they are for Gamblers. If your going to raise the blinds you might as well push your going to have to get all your chips in if called anyay. So pushing does a mental thing and makes hands like Q10 muck. Just raising he felt you showed weakness and was hoping to push you off your hand.

just push. The problem with being short stacked is that you can't wait for the best times to get your money in. You just have to get it in and hope you are in good shape. Also, I wouldn't continue to show my all ins that aren't called. If you want to show 1 or maybe 2 just to show them you aren't doing it with anything, thats ok but there is no reason to keep giving them information.
