Well, in order to test the theory that "ya can't keep a good man down", I decided to play a quick late-night session. Tacked on another 2 hours, meaning I got in a total of 7 today! Rockin start to the week hours-wise, and I feel I must add: EAT THAT, ICEMAN! Try maliciously implying that I'm lazy NOW, BIATCH!

I also redeemed my rather unimpressive earlier session by managing a $165 gain, giving the month a much more positive start. I started out down, clawed back and pottered around 20-30 up for a while, and then this hand happened:

Take note of the subtle strategems and gambits I employ (such as betting and raising at every available opportunity)! Note how I cleverly INDUCE my opponents to call me (by betting and raising at every available opportunity and hoping they call me)!!

Seriously, though, if felt really great to win a big pot with AA by just clicking the raise button over and over while drool slowly seeped down my chin and nearly into my reasonably alcoholic beverage. That type of thing needs to happen more often! Well, aside from the drooling that is.

Play (2) 3 1/2 hour sessions every day at least 5 days a week for a month and I'll be impressed and you'll actually have extra money to spend. Try it..you might like it.

Jeeeeez, man, 7 hours a day might damn near kill me! But since I play 7 days a week, I'm gonna try and average 6 hours a day. The more the better, but I know myself well enough to know that the phrase "above and beyond" should only ever be used in relation to my blood alcohol level.

Having money to spend would be kinda nice, though...more money = better liquor. Though I must say, Wild Turkey bourbon is starting to grow on me. Like a tumor, but still.

well, his kicker ties the board so would that count? It might not qualify as a bad beat (at least not at party) where they need quads to lose to quads (8's or higher i believe). In vegas, you would make someone pretty much any casino.

HAH! Put in another 5 and a quarter hours today, and there is a VERY REAL CHANCE that I'll put in another small session later tonight. Made about $85 which is certainly not spectacular, but it's better than the -50 to -100 that I spent a good portion of the session at. I've been playing a bit LAGier of late, perhaps a bit too much, but I think I've been doing well as far as reading and discipline. All told, I still don't feel like the cards have been treating my too well of late, so I'm looking forward to a big day in the near future when good cards combine with good play to make me a happy fuck-head.

I DESPISE ACE BLOODY QUEEN! I HATE IT!

It fucking sucks. I generally flatcall with AQ, but if someone looks like they're on a steal-raise or if they have loose standards, well then I 3-bet, right!? SIMPLE, RIGHT!? Except every god-damn time, the fuckers have fucking AK or some other bloody pair such as 3 FUCKING 3 that I fail to beat. In 2 days this month, I've already managed to lose $240 WITH THE FUCKING HAND! WHAT THE FUCK IS THE GOD-DAMNED DEAL!?
