Sites with PLO8 games

Postby Kuso » Sun Aug 07, 2005 5:54 am

I was wondering where people play PLO8. I have only played Party and skins so far, but I would like to have other options available.

I am particularly interested in sites that offer good bonuses or rakeback.

So the list of questions:

- What sites have populated and good (i.e., loose) PLO8 action?
- What limits are populated and loose?
- What kind of bonuses does the site have and how easily do they clear?
- What kind of rackeback (if any) is available?

As I play at Party, I'll go ahead and answer what I can for that site (and skins):

1) Party and skins has populated games that are loose

2) I've only played $25, and it's sweet. I've briefly observed $100 and $200, and they seem also to have players willing to donate their money. Typically the $25 and $100 tables are the most populated. $50 doesn't seem to have too many players -- maybe just on weekends. $200 seems to have a table or two going at certain times of the day (haven't worked it out yet). After $200, the other buy-in levels ($400, $600, and $1000) seem to rarely have players. $2000 gets a table or two going at times.

3) Lots of sign-up and reload bonuses and relatively easy to clear.

4) Rakeback is available through certain sites (I use Eurobet, but I think Empire does it, too).

If you're playing $25 I think the Ultimatebet tables are reasonable, and they have timeless bonuses that clear cent-by-cent, which is nice, although they're not as quick as on most sites.

Crytpologic tables seem good for PLO8, though table choice is usually poor, it's rare for their to be more than one 100PLO8 running at any time, and never any higher. There's usually a couple of 25PLO8 going, though, and they tend to be pretty loose. Bonuses are good too, if you have the BR to play at a couple of them.

I love Stars and the PLO8 is decent but the bonuses won't clear very quick at 25PLO8.

25PLO8 is going to be weak anywhere, so maybe just look for the sites that offer the best apparent bonuses.

FYI, I am considering moving up to $100 soon, so any info on $100 tables would be appreciated.

Monk, any comments on $100 PLO8 at UB, Stars, and/or Crypto?

I also wonder about Prima.

Here is that comments on this topic.

Basically, it seems like Party, Empire, MultiPokier, and Eurobet (all Party skins) are some of the easiest bonus sites to clear at $25. Add Stars, Paradise, and UB if you play $100 or don't have any other bonuses to clear -- $25 is REALLY slow to clear at these sites.

As Empire is 1000 hands and MultiPoker is 2000 to clear a $100 bonus, it is probably a good idea to get a 25% rakeback deal for these sites -- especially if you play $100.

Note that while the poster suggests Crazy Poker, there is a LOT of bellyaching on BW about customer support.
